Season of Crafting

Holiday season is like the Super Bowl of crafting for my people. And by "my people" I mean Pinterest addicts. In the spirit of trying to be organized and ahead of the game I'm going to post a schedule of events so we can all get our crafts done on time this year. I'm lumping you in with me, but I shouldn't assume that you're always playing craft catch up like I do. Maybe you're super organized and remember to do your Halloween craft at the beginning of October instead of October 29th. If that's you, don't judge me, and if that's not you and you struggle like I do, then we will work it all out together.

This can be an overwhelming time of year for me. Just getting all of the holiday decorations changed out at the beginning of each month seems exhausting when I think about it. Then I see all of the adorable decorations at the stores when I'm out shopping and it gets me all inspired to make more decorations and I get motivated. We're going to get motivated. Ready? Here we go...

Our Halloween craft is all about Funkins. If you don't know what those are, buckle up, you're about to be introduced to a fun Halloween addiction. These faux pumpkins can be decorated in so many different ways and, unlike real pumpkins, can be saved and used year after year.

Our Thanksgiving craft is all about banners. I love a good banner and have one for almost every single occasion. I fell in love with the idea of banners a few years back and cranked one out every time I had a good excuse for one. This banner is great and will liven up your house for November when the decorations are a little more sparse.

Our Christmas craft is one I've been meaning to do for years but never remember to do it until after Christmas. This year it's going to happen. I'm going to finally take the cutting from the bottom of my Christmas tree and make an ornament out of it.

We can do it. We can be organized and on time. First up is Halloween. Stay tuned and don't go far, details will be coming shortly. This was just a little inspiration to get us pumped up and motivated!
