Facebook Craft Winner!
Our Social Media craft winner is Lisa Ellis from Illinois! She posted a photo and description of some amazing pumpkins. I also appreciate that the winning craft is a perfect lead in for the upcoming holiday season. Stay tuned for more details on my "Season of Crafting" which will be coming soon. That's my big tease for next month's crafts.
The winning craft involves pumpkins, melted crayons and glitter. According to Lisa, the crayons were melted on with a blow torch. I can honestly say I have never done a blow torch craft. Sounds amazing and looks phenomenal! If I just owned a blow torch, I would be all over this one.
For you adventurous crafters, have at it!! Since I don't have exact details on how to do this one I'm going to guess, which is how most of my crafts begin. I see something I like and then try to figure out how to make it myself. I would tape crayons around the tops of the pumpkins and then take the torch to them. I would hope the torch would melt the crayons and clear tape (did I mention I would try using clear tape?) I would have the glitter close by so I could sprinkle some on while the crayons were still melty and soft. Good luck! If anyone takes this one on, make sure to send me photos.
Thanks again, Lisa, for a great October craft!!SaveSaveSave
